Nearly 120 km from Les Briottières, the site is a popular stopover for visitors to the Anjou region, thus completing a rich historical journey.
The interior of the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau is a reflection of the different eras it went through. The Biencourt salon, named in honor of its illustrious owners between the 18th and 19th centuries, is a veritable museum with its works of art hanging on the walls, tapestries and furniture. Upstairs, the Renaissance atmosphere has been faithfully maintained. The bed is raised and has velvet upholstery.
