Yes. The Château des Briottières is both a luxury 4-star hotel and a family home that has been inhabited by the same family for 7 generations. Arnaud and Madeleine de Valbray, following François and Hedwige de Valbray, welcome you there personally.Yes. ‍Is the castle open all year round?
The Château des Briottières is open from the end of March to the beginning of November. For groups or private events, an off-season opening is possible on request.

‍How many rooms do you offer?
The estate offers 17 rooms divided between three locations:
- The Castle (18th century)
- Le Fruitiers, an outbuilding renovated in a more contemporary style
- La Cabane Lodge, nestled in nature with private sauna

Are children welcome?
Absolutely. The castle welcomes families with pleasure. Baby cots and adapted equipment are available upon request at the time of booking.

‍Can we add an extra bed?
Yes, in some rooms, an extra bed can be added (supplement of €40 per night).

‍Do you offer massages or wellness treatments?
On request and subject to availability, we can organize relaxing treatments in your room.

‍Is there a laundry service?
Yes, a laundry service is available on request (for a fee).

‍Stay & services What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival is from 15:00. Departure is requested before noon.

‍Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is offered at the rate of €18 per person. It is served in the dining room or on the terrace depending on the season. The price is €10 for children under 6 years old.

‍Do you offer a catering service?
Yes. A dinner is offered every evening upon reservation: Adult formula: 49€ (starter, main course, dessert). Children's formula: 12€
The menu is unique and varies according to seasonality (home cooking, local products).

‍Are the rooms air conditioned?
No, but the thickness of the 18th century walls guarantees pleasant natural freshness in summer. Fans are available upon request.

‍Are there rooms with kitchens?
No All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, but do not have a kitchen area. However, guests can book dinner on site each evening.

‍Are bed and bath linen provided?
Yes, all linen is provided and changed regularly. Daily cleaning service is included.

‍Animals, accessibility & equipment‍Are animals accepted?
Yes, only in some rooms. Please let us know in advance. A supplement of €15 per night applies.

‍Is the castle accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The main building does not have an elevator, so the rooms in the Castle are not accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, the Provençal apartment and the Potager bedroom, located in Le Fruitiers, on the ground floor, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

‍What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before arrival. After this period, the entire stay will be invoiced.

‍Can we organize a wedding at the Château des Briottières?
Yes. We welcome weddings at certain times of the year, according to various formulas, including privatization of the estate, accommodations and reception. Please contact us for a personalized offer.
